Tigran Barseghyan finishes the season as Slovakia's top scorer and champion

Tigran Barseghyan became the Slovak champion for the fourth time with Slovan Bratislava and ended the season as the top scorer of the league. The Armenian forward shared first place in the scoring race with his teammate David Strelec — both scored 20 goals.
Barseghyan has now been named the league’s top scorer for the second consecutive year.
Overall, Barseghyan played 45 matches this season, scoring 23 goals and providing 9 assists. In addition to the league, Tigran also scored in the Champions League — against AC Milan in the group stage, as well as during the tournament's qualifying phase. His goal against Midtjylland was decisive, sending Slovan into the group stage of the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
The 31-year-old Armenian also scored one goal in the Slovak Cup. In the final round of the league, Slovan narrowly defeated Košice 1–0, with the only goal scored by David Strelec, allowing him to catch up with Barseghyan in the top scorer race.
