“Syunik” and “Ararat” Advance to the Armenian Cup Quarterfinals

Kapan’s “Syunik” booked their spot in the quarterfinals of the Armenian Cup after a 1–0 victory over amateur side “Kilikia.” The winning goal was scored by Erik Soghomonyan.

Yerevan’s “Ararat” also reached the next round, securing their first win of the season. Facing First League leaders “Sradarapat,” the white-and-reds claimed a confident 3–0 victory. The goals were scored by Aboubacar Ouattara, Kalifala Doumbia, and Gor Lulukyan.

Thus, eight teams will compete in the Armenian Cup quarterfinals: First League representatives “Syunik” and “Andranik,” along with six Premier League clubs — “Ararat,” “Pyunik,” “Noah,” “Ararat-Armenia,” “Urartu,” and “Shirak.”
