Suren Harutyunyan Wins Gold at Orel Cup 2025

Armenian national team karateka Suren Arutyunyan (75 kg) became the champion of the international Orel Cup 2025 tournament held in the city of Orel.

In the final, the Armenian athlete secured a confident victory over Russia’s Daniil Mikhaylichenko and claimed the gold medal of the prestigious competition.

This year, the “Orel Cup” brought together participants from 16 countries and 45 regions of Russia. Around 1,300 athletes took part in the tournament. The competition lasted for three days and was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the “Orel-Karat” club.

The tournament concluded on September 28, and on the same day, a festive ceremony was held in GRINN to celebrate the school’s anniversary. The event was attended by regional leaders and honorary guests, including the President of the Russian Karate Federation, Sergey Tsoy.
