Russian Super Cup: Spertsyan and Bandikyan to Play in Kazan

Today, July 12, the 2025 Russian Super Cup match will take place in Kazan. The reigning champions, FC Krasnodar — featuring Armenian national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan — will face Russian Cup winners CSKA Moscow.

Spertsyan, who had a stellar season last year, remains with the “Bulls,” although a potential transfer to a European club is still under discussion. CSKA may also field another Armenian player — Artyom Bandikyan, who completed full preseason training with the main squad and is edging closer to his debut for the senior team.

The match kicks off at 18:00 Moscow time (19:00 Yerevan time) and will be broadcast live on Match TV.
