Torpedo Moscow midfielder Stepan Oganesyan has scored his first goal for his new club. The 24-year-old footballer found the net in an away match against Krasnoyarsk's Yenisey in the 14th round of the Russian First League, helping the Moscow side secure a 2-1 victory.
Oganesyan started the match and opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Just one minute later, Nigerian forward Jonathan Okoronkwo doubled the visitors' lead, giving Torpedo a comfortable two-goal advantage early in the game.
However, the home side managed to respond quickly. In the 33rd minute, Alexander Kanaplin pulled one back for Yenisey. Despite the hosts' attempts to find an equalizer, the Moscow club held on to claim a 2-1 victory.
For Stepan Oganesyan, this was his first goal in a Torpedo Moscow shirt. The midfielder joined the club in early September 2026 after transferring from Orenburg. He needed just four appearances to open his goalscoring account for his new team.
Another Armenian footballer at Torpedo Moscow, Artur Galoyan, was also included in the matchday squad but remained on the bench throughout the game.
With this victory, Torpedo Moscow reached 27 points and climbed to third place in the Russian First League standings.
