Construction of the Albert Azaryan Artistic Gymnastics School Begins

A new sports complex named after Albert Azaryan will be built in Yerevan ahead of the 2027 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
The construction program for a new sports base of the Albert Azaryan Youth Olympic School has started in Yerevan. According to the Yerevan Municipality, the project is being implemented as part of preparations for the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships to be held in Armenia in 2027.
Given the urgency of the construction, on June 20, 2025, the Armenian government declared the procurement of construction and related services for this project as urgent. It also approved the use of a simplified "urgent single-source procurement" procedure.
