Voting has started for the “People’s Choice Award” of the “Best in Sports – 2025” award

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has announced the start of voting for the “People’s Choice Award” within the annual “Best in Sports – 2025” award.
Sports fans and enthusiasts can support their favorites by voting for one of the nominees — the country’s leading athletes representing various sports and achieving outstanding results in 2025. Among the nominees are one footballer, Eduard Spertsyan; one wrestler, Arsen Harutyunyan; tennis player Elina Avanesyan; as well as four weightlifters, three gymnasts, a shooter, and a karate athlete.
Nominees for the People’s Choice Award:
Arsen Harutyunyan (freestyle wrestling)
Eduard Spertsyan (football)
Alexandra Grigoryan (weightlifting)
Garik Karapetyan (weightlifting)
Emma Poghosyan (weightlifting)
Gor Sahakyan (weightlifting)
Artur Davtyan (artistic gymnastics)
Hamlet Manukyan (artistic gymnastics)
Mamikon Khachatryan (artistic gymnastics)
Suren Harutyunyan (karate)
Elmira Karapetyan (shooting)
Elina Avanesyan (tennis)
Voting is available via the LINK. The results of the vote and the name of the People’s Choice Award winner will be announced on December 25.
It should be noted that the “Best in Sports – 2025” award also includes other categories, where winners will be selected by experts and journalists.
Nominees for the “Best in Sports – 2025” award have been announced in Armenia.
