The 2025 European Youth Weightlifting Championships have begun: Results of Day One

On October 28, in the Albanian city of Durrës, the 2025 European Youth Weightlifting Championships kicked off, featuring athletes under 20 and under 23 years old. On the opening day, five sets of medals were awarded — two in the U23 category and three in the U20.
By the end of the day, Turkey’s representatives claimed two gold medals, while athletes from Romania, Spain, and Italy each earned one.
The Armenian national team did not compete on the first day and will begin its participation on October 29.
