UEFA Conference League 2026/27 League Phase Draw Results Revealed

The draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League took place in Monaco. All 36 teams in the competition learned the identities of their six opponents. The opening matchday will take place on October 15, while the final matches of the league phase are scheduled for December 17, 2026.
Under the new format, each team will play six matches — three at home and three away — against six different opponents.
Opponents for Pot 1 teams
One of the headline fixtures of the league phase will see Ajax face Atalanta in Amsterdam. The draw also paired Monaco with Freiburg, while Copenhagen will take on Braga.

Other teams taking part in the league phase include Brighton, Gent, Panathinaikos, Getafe, Twente, Trabzonspor, Kairat, Hajduk, Riga and other clubs.
When the Conference League matches will be played
The league phase will run from mid-October until the second half of December:
- Matchday 1: October 15, 2026
- Matchday 2: October 22
- Matchday 3: November 5
- Matchday 4: November 26
- Matchday 5: December 10
- Matchday 6: December 17
The full schedule, including the exact allocation of fixtures to each matchday, is expected to be published no later than Sunday, August 30, 2026.
How the draw was conducted
All 36 clubs were divided into six pots of six teams each based on the UEFA club coefficient at the start of the season.
Each team was drawn against one opponent from each of the six pots. The draw also determined whether each fixture would be played at home or away.
The pots were paired as follows: Pots 1 and 2, Pots 3 and 4, and Pots 5 and 6. Within each such pair, a team plays one match at home and one away.
Under the draw rules, clubs from the same national association generally could not face each other. In addition, a team could be drawn against no more than two opponents from the same country.
Matchday 1 of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League league phase will take place on October 15.
