Spertsyan could continue his career in the Saudi Pro League. Football agent Timur Gurtskaya has revealed that the 25-year-old has received serious interest from Saudi Arabia.
According to Gurtskaya, the offer for Spertsyan has come not simply from the Middle East, but from one of the top-three clubs in Saudi Arabia. Last season, the league’s top three were Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, which makes these clubs the possible destinations for the Armenian midfielder.
The agent noted that the financial terms are acceptable for the player. The key issue now is Krasnodar’s position and the decision of club owner Sergey Galitsky.
“There is an offer from the Middle East, specifically from Saudi Arabia. More specifically, from a top-three club in Saudi Arabia. Edik is satisfied with the financial terms; now everything has to be agreed with Krasnodar. Everyone is waiting for Sergey Nikolaevich Galitsky’s decision. Supposedly, if Edik wants to leave, Sergey Nikolaevich will let him go as a gesture of gratitude for the time he has spent at Krasnodar,” Gurtskaya said in a video published by the Telegram channel of the show “Eto futbol, brat!”
Spertsyan is a product of Krasnodar’s academy and has become one of the team’s key players in recent years. In the 2025/26 season, the midfielder made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists.
For the player himself, a move to Saudi Arabia could become one of the biggest chapters of his career. Possible destinations include Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, Al-Hilal with Karim Benzema and Theo Hernandez, as well as Al-Ahli, whose squad includes Franck Kessie.
At the same time, Spertsyan remains under a long-term contract with Krasnodar until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt values the Armenia international at €25 million.
There has been no official confirmation from the clubs yet, but the information has already turned Spertsyan’s potential transfer into one of the main stories of the summer window. If the deal goes through, the Armenia national team midfielder could become one of the most notable new arrivals in the Saudi Pro League.
