A new boxing confederation, European Boxing, has been established in Europe. It will be responsible for organizing Olympic qualification tournaments and will operate under World Boxing.
The confederation already includes 23 countries, but Armenia is not among them.
Lars Brovil from Denmark has been appointed as the president of European Boxing.
