The coaching staff of the Armenia U19 national team, led by head coach Roman Grigoryan, has announced the squad for the training camp that will take place from August 25 to 28.
This is the same group that previously had a successful run in international matches earlier this year: the Armenian players drew against Kosovo and Turkey, and also recorded a convincing 9-0 victory over Gibraltar.
A total of 22 players have been included in the squad.

The main highlight of the squad announcement is the first call-up of Akron defender Eduard Martirosyan. Previously, the player represented Russia U17, and he now has the opportunity to make his debut for the Armenian national team.
At the same time, several key players from the previous squad were not included, including Daniel Hambardzumyan of Krasnodar and team captain Davit Batoyan of Rostov. The coaching staff likely decided to use the August camp to evaluate new players and expand their options ahead of official matches.
It should be noted that in October, Armenia U19 will play two friendly matches against Estonia. In November, Roman Grigoryan’s team will face Cyprus and Albania in the second round of the UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign.
