Verbal Duel in Yerevan: Tsarukyan and Shara Bullet Heat Up the Atmosphere Ahead of Hype FC

On December 28, an official press conference of the Hype Armenia promotion took place in Yerevan, dedicated to the tournament scheduled for December 30. The main event of the evening will be a grappling match between UFC fighters Arman Tsarukyan and Shara Bullet.

Tension Between Arman Tsarukyan and Shara Bullet

One of the most discussed moments of the press conference was the tense exchange between the participants of the main bout. The verbal clash quickly escalated into a harsh exchange of remarks.

Shara Bullet emphasized that he takes the upcoming fight very seriously and does not consider it a pop-MMA format:

“I have different standards, I take this seriously. If you think this is pop-MMA, then I take it personally.”

In response, Arman Tsarukyan criticized his opponent for failing to fulfill agreements with the organization:

“If you agree with people that you’re flying in but don’t show up, and then say ‘pay for my nerves.’ Just buy a ticket and come — you had an agreement with the organization. You claim to be a man.”

Shara Bullet continued in a tougher tone, stating that he is ready to stand by his words. However, Tsarukyan made it clear that he does not fall for provocations, especially on Armenian soil.

Opinions of Fighters and Experts

Other participants and guests of the tournament also shared their opinions during the press conference. Arsen Harutyunyan commented on the Tsarukyan vs. Shara Bullet matchup, noting the high level of both fighters and the principled nature of their confrontation.

Special attention was also given to Arman Tsarukyan’s recent bout against Mehdi Baydulaev. Pop-MMA fighter Nikarho stated that, in his opinion, Arman’s victory was not fair. He claimed that the grip that led to the stoppage was applied incorrectly and that Tsarukyan’s arm was not in a choking position at the moment they went out of bounds.

These statements were addressed by Amirkhan Oev, the opponent of Lendrush Hakobyan:

“Everything was done correctly. The only thing is that the hands were switched. Arman was already winning on points and would have won in any case.”
