Sheriff starts Europa League campaign with a rout, Artur Serobyan features in the match

Tiraspol's Sheriff secured a commanding 4–0 victory over Kosovo's Prishtina in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.

The star of the match was home striker Cyrille Bayala, who netted a hat-trick. Elia Odede added another goal. Armenian forward Artur Serobyan came on after the break and played the entire second half for Sheriff.

The second leg will take place on July 17 in Kosovo.

Today, another Armenian national team player is expected to feature in the Europa League — midfielder Vahan Bichakhchyan could appear for Polish club Legia Warsaw.
