Seven Armenian Boxers Reach Semifinals of International Tournament in Batumi

On June 26, the second day of the prestigious Irakli Abashidze International Boxing Tournament took place in Batumi under the auspices of World Boxing. The Armenian national team is represented by its strongest lineup and has already achieved significant success — seven Armenian athletes have advanced to the semifinals.

WIN 55 kg: Ruslan Aslikyan (Armenia) defeated Ihtiyar Aliev (Georgia) — 5:0
LOSS 55 kg: Davit Egoryan lost to Baran Kirkgozler (Turkey) — 2:3
WIN 60 kg: Artur Saakyan scored an early victory over Nurbek Kerimbergenov (Turkmenistan) — TKO in Round 2
