The Georgian national team has announced its squad for the playoff matches against Armenia

In March, the Georgian national team will play two crucial playoff matches against the Armenian national team for the right to remain in League B of the UEFA Nations League. The first match will take place on March 20 in Yerevan, and the return match will be held on March 23 in Tbilisi. The winner of this clash will earn the right to compete in League B in the 2026/2027 season.

The head coach of the Georgian team, Willy Sagnol, has presented a list of 25 players preparing for these important games. Among the called-up players is one newcomer—20-year-old defender Luka Latsabidze, who plays for Odesa's "Chornomorets" and the Georgian youth national team. His inclusion in the squad was a pleasant surprise for the fans.

However, there have also been some losses. Due to accumulated yellow cards received during the group stage of the Nations League, key players Guram Kashia and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will miss the first match in Yerevan. Their absence could be a serious challenge for the team, but the Georgian national team has enough strong players to compensate for these losses.
