Armenia National Team Advances to the Semi-Final of the Unity EURO Cup 2025 in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, at the training base of the country’s Royal Football Association (KNVB), the international tournament Unity EURO Cup 2025 is taking place, bringing together teams from various European countries. The Armenia national team successfully passed the group stage and advanced to the semi-final, where they will face the team from Greece.
The Armenian team began the tournament with a 0–0 draw against Finland. In the second match, they recorded a resounding 5–0 victory over Belgium, and the third match again ended goalless — 0–0 against Greece. These results allowed Armenia to advance to the knockout stage.
In the quarterfinals, the Armenians beat Northern Ireland 2–1, and then defeated Ireland by the same score 2–1, securing their place in the semi-final.
The semi-finals and final will take place on October 16.
The Unity EURO Cup is a joint initiative of UEFA and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The tournament is intended to show that football can unite people regardless of their origin, life path or status, reminding us of its power to be a source of hope, inclusion and new opportunities.
