Armenia U20 National Team Falls to Russia in Friendly Match — Kirakosyan Shines

As part of the preparation for the U20 European Basketball Championship (Division B), which will be held in Yerevan from July 11 to 20, the Armenian U20 national team played a friendly match against their peers from Russia.
In a tense and evenly matched game, the Armenian team lost 82–90. However, the match served as a valuable test ahead of the upcoming tournament.
The standout player for Armenia was Daniel Kirakosyan, who delivered an impressive performance. He scored 32 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and provided 5 assists, demonstrating high efficiency and strong leadership.
Despite the loss, the match was an important step in the team’s preparation for EuroBasket, as they continue to build form ahead of the home championship.
EuroBasket U20 (Division B) will take place in Yerevan from July 11 to 20.
