Armenia U19 to Participate in International Tournament in Moldova

The Armenia U19 national team will take part in an international tournament scheduled to be held from June 6 to 11 in Moldova. The information was reported by the official website of the Moldovan Football Federation. The Armenian federation has not yet officially confirmed participation, and the team roster remains unknown at this stage.

According to the Moldovan side, the tournament will be held at two venues — the National Team Training Center in Vadul lui Vodă and the City Stadium in Nisporeni. Alongside Armenia, the tournament will feature Moldova U20, Moldova U19, and Georgia U19 teams.

In the opening match on June 6, Armenia will face Moldova U20. On June 8, they will play against Moldova U19, and on June 10 — against their peers from Georgia. All matches are set to be friendlies.

It is possible that the Armenia U19 squad in Moldova will include age-eligible players from the extended list of the Armenia U21 team, which will play friendly matches against Cyprus on June 3 and 6.
