Armenia U16 National Team Crushes Moldova by 24 Points

The Armenia U16 boys’ basketball team made a spectacular start in the European Championship Division C. In the opening match of the tournament held in Albania, the Armenian team defeated their Moldovan peers with a score of 80:56.
The star of the match was Kevin Keshishyan, who recorded a double-double: 21 points, 10 rebounds, along with 3 assists and 2 steals. He received strong support from Edgar Agabekyan, who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 7 steals.
David Alae Parrot (14 points) and Stephan Karibyan (12 points) also contributed to the team’s success — all four players are part of the U.S. high school basketball league.

Armenia’s next game is scheduled for July 7 against Malta, followed by their final group-stage match on July 10 against tournament host Albania.
