Armenia U16 volleyball team starts home Euro with a loss to Greece

In the opening match of the CEV U16 Volleyball European Championship, which kicked off on July 23 in Yerevan, the Armenia national team lost to Greece 0-3 (13:25, 14:25, 22:25).
Despite the tough start, Andrey Nozdrin’s squad intends to keep fighting for a top position. As Karen Asmaryan, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Armenia, stated earlier, the team’s goal is to finish among the top five of the tournament.
Armenia will play its next match tomorrow, July 24, against Romania.
The U16 European Championship is taking place in Armenia’s capital from July 23 to 30.
