The Armenia U15 national football team secured their first victory at the 2026 UEFA Development Cup, currently taking place in Bulgaria. In the second round of the tournament, Armenia defeated Kosovo 2-0.
Martin Sargsyan was the standout performer, scoring both goals to secure the victory for Armenia. The result was reported by the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA).
The team, coached by Arman Arakelyan, bounced back from a disappointing start to the competition. In their opening match, the Armenian youngsters suffered a heavy 8-0 defeat against tournament hosts Bulgaria.
Following two matches, Armenia have collected three points, with two goals scored and eight conceded.
In the third and final round, Armenia will face Moldova on October 20. The match will mark Arman Arakelyan's team's final appearance at the tournament in Bulgaria.
The UEFA Development Cup aims to provide young footballers with valuable international match experience and help youth national teams prepare for future official competitions.
