Armenia’s Freestyle Wrestling Team Departs for World Championships in Zagreb

Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team, consisting of five athletes, has departed for Croatia, where the 2025 World Championships will kick off on September 13 in the capital city, Zagreb.
The draw will take place on September 12, with the Armenian wrestlers scheduled as follows:

September 13 — Manvel Khndzrtsyan (61 kg) and Arman Andreasyan (70 kg)

September 14 — Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg) and Hrayr Alikhanyan (74 kg)

September 15 — Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg)
Led by coach Abetnak Kurginyan, the Armenian squad is aiming for a strong performance and a fight for medals at the world stage.
