Armenia's shooting team finished the 2025 European Championship with 17 medals

Armenia’s shooting team successfully completed its performance at the European Championship held in Châteauroux, France, winning a total of 17 medals: 6 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze.

The last medal came from Goar Harutyunyan, who won silver in the women’s 50m individual complex with a score of 380 points.

In the senior competition, European champions were Gor Khachatryan (10m) and Hovhannes Margaryan (50m) with world record. In addition to Goar Harutyunyan, silver medals were claimed by Hayk Minasyan, while bronze medals went to Arusik Grigoryan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, and the duo of Hovhannes Margaryan / Arusik Grigoryan.

The Armenian team was also the best in the team standings among seniors: the men’s and women’s teams won gold three times, took silver twice, and claimed bronze once.

In the junior category, Aida Azatyan became the European champion and also won silver in the "mixed run" discipline. Team newcomer Lilit Mkrtchyan won silver in the "normal run" discipline.

The Armenian team competed under the guidance of coaches Edgar Baghdasaryan and Edward Garibyan, demonstrating one of the best results in recent years.
