Armenia’s Futsal Team Lost to Spain in the Second Friendly Match

The Armenia futsal national team played its second friendly match against one of the world’s strongest teams — Spain — and suffered a 1:8 defeat.

The only goal for Armenia was scored by 19-year-old Arsen Petrosov, who had also found the net in the first game between the teams, where Spain won 6:2.

Due to an injury, one of Armenia’s key players, Nikita Khromyh, could not take part in the second match.

It should be noted that the national team’s official matches will take place at EURO 2026, to be held in Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovenia from January 21 to February 7. On September 24, the final participants of the tournament will be announced.
