Armenia Women’s Basketball Team Arrives in Kosovo: Squad and Schedule Announced

The Armenia women’s national basketball team has arrived in Kosovo, where it will take part in the 2026 FIBA European Championship for Small Countries.

The women’s 2026 European Championship for Small Countries will be held from June 23 to 28 in the city of Peja. The team, led by head coach Tade Martirosyan, is preparing for the start of the tournament and will play at least two matches in the group stage.

Armenia will play its opening game on June 23 against Kosovo. On June 25, the Armenian basketball players will face Andorra.

Six teams will take part in the tournament, divided into two groups. The teams finishing first and second in each group will advance to the semifinals, while the third-placed teams will play in the match for fifth place.
