Sardarapat Come From Behind to Beat Gandzasar Thanks to Levon Petrosyan Brace

Sardarapat secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Gandzasar in Matchday 10 of the 2026/27 Armenian Premier League season. Levon Petrosyan was the hero of the match, scoring twice in just six minutes to turn the game around.

The match took place at the Junior Sport Stadium in Yerevan, with Gandzasar playing as the designated home team.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Leo Virginio Mateus dos Reis found the net to give Gandzasar an early advantage. Sardarapat were unable to equalize before halftime.

However, the beginning of the second half completely changed the course of the match. Levon Petrosyan brought Sardarapat level in the 50th minute before scoring again just six minutes later, completing his brace and securing a 2-1 comeback victory for his team.

With this win, Sardarapat moved to 15 points and sit fifth in the Armenian Premier League standings. Meanwhile, Gandzasar remain at the bottom of the table with just three points.

In the next round, Sardarapat will face Urartu, while Gandzasar will take on Pyunik.
