Roony Bardghji to Play Against Armenia U21

Barcelona forward with Armenian roots, Roony Bardghji, has been called up to Sweden’s U21 national team and will take part in the match against Armenia U21. The game will be held on September 5 in Falkenberg and will serve as the opening fixture for both teams in the UEFA European U21 Championship qualifiers.

The Sweden U21 – Armenia U21 clash will kick off the competition in Group E, which also includes Italy, Poland, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.

It should be reminded that Roony Bardghji joined Barcelona this summer from Copenhagen. The striker has Armenian heritage on his father’s side, which we previously reported.
