Movsisyan and Ghazaryan’s Results at the 2025 European Junior Championships

The European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships continue in the Albanian city of Durrës. In the 94 kg weight category among juniors, Armenia was represented by Grigor Ghazaryan and Valerik Movsisyan.
Grigor Ghazaryan lifted 150 kg in the snatch, finishing fifth in that discipline. However, he failed to register a result in the clean and jerk, leaving him without a total.
Valerik Movsisyan performed more successfully: he lifted 155 kg in the snatch, placing fourth, and 185 kg in the clean and jerk. With a total of 340 kg, the Armenian lifter finished fifth overall in Europe.
The European champion title went to Georgia’s Goga Jajvani with a total of 363 kg (166+197). Belarusian Ignaty Pavlyukovets took silver with 360 kg (165+195), and Albanian Ertjan Kofsha claimed bronze with 356 kg (162+194).
The European Junior Championships in Durrës will conclude on November 4.
