The Rael American Freestyle Wrestling (RAF) league has officially announced the signing of one of the most decorated heavyweights in the world — Geno Petriashvili. The 31-year-old Georgian super heavyweight (125 kg) has signed with the promotion and will debut at the upcoming event.
Champion’s debut at RAF 07
The 2024 Olympic champion at 125 kg and three-time world champion could step on the mat as early as March 28 at RAF 07. Petriashvili’s signing is a bold move by the league to solidify its place as the premier platform for elite freestyle wrestling.
Geno is a wrestler known for combining rare speed for his weight class, top-tier ground control, and vast international experience. His arrival significantly elevates the level of the heavyweight division and overall interest in the tournament.
