Tsarukyan and Danis Involved in Brawl Ahead of RAF 14
Tensions between Arman Tsarukyan and Dillon Danis escalated even before the two athletes stepped onto the wrestling mat.
During the pre-event press conference on October 22, a large brawl broke out between the rivals. The incident was sparked by a provocative T-shirt worn by Danis, featuring an image of Khamzat Chimaev and an insulting message directed at him.
After seeing the shirt, Tsarukyan lunged toward the American and attempted to throw a punch. Security personnel, event organizers and other participants intervened to separate those involved. Chimaev also became involved in the altercation.
The two rivals will now meet in an official freestyle wrestling match, with the RAF championship title on the line.
