In the final match of the season, Yerevan’s Pyunik lost to Van with a score of 2-3. The game was both high-scoring and intense.
For Yeghishe Melikyan’s team, Taron Voskanyan and Mikhail Kovalenko found the net. Van’s goals were scored by Fanye Toure, Ajibona, and Klaidher, securing victory for the team from Charentsavan.
This match marked the season’s end for Pyunik, while Van still has one more game to play — against Urartu on May 28. However, even a win in that match won’t secure European qualification for Vage Gevorgyan’s side, as they will remain one point behind Pyunik.
Thus, despite the disappointing finish, Pyunik will compete in the Conference League after finishing in 4th place.
