Pyunik lost to Spartak in a friendly match in the UAE

Yerevan's Pyunik played a friendly match during their training camp in the UAE against Moscow's Spartak and suffered a 0–2 defeat.

Both goals were scored in the second half — Levi García and Theo Bongonda found the net.

Pyunik’s starting lineup:
Avagyan — Kainourgios, Almeida, Kovalenko, Alemao — Kulikov, Islamović, Karlen Hovhannisyan — Moreno, Okansi, Yansané.

Pyunik played almost the entire match with the same lineup, as other players featured in a morning game against a Chinese club. Spartak, on the other hand, used all available players.

The match was part of both teams’ preparation for the second half of the season.
