Pyunik delivered a powerful performance in Matchday 23 of the Fastex Armenian Premier League, crushing Gyumri’s Shirak with a 6-1 victory.
The goal fest was opened by Sani Buhari, setting the tone for the entire match. He was followed by Matas Vareika, Serge Deblé, Temur Jikia, Mikhail Kovalenko, and Joël Bopesu. For Bopesu, this goal marked his debut strike for Pyunik. The standout player of the match was Alemao, who provided two brilliant assists for Sani Buhari and Serge Deblé.
Shirak managed to respond with only one goal, scored by Robert Darbinyan.
This confident victory allowed Pyunik to strengthen its hold on 3rd place in the league table, while Shirak remained in 6th place.
Special attention should be given to Varazdat Haroyan and Solomon Udo, for whom this match was the last before joining the Armenian national team. Both played the full game, with Udo registering an assist for Kovalenko.
