From May 1 to May 6, 2025, the Youth (U20) and Junior (U17) World Weightlifting Championships were held simultaneously— for the first time in history— on the same stage in Lima, Peru. Men and women competed on separate platforms.

The Armenian team competed with seven athletes and won six medals, including four golds in the U17 category, earning first place in the medal table for juniors.
