Full contents of Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s autobiography published

Armenian midfielder of “Inter” Henrikh Mkhitaryan has presented the detailed contents of his autobiography “La mia vita sempre al centro. Il viaggio di un ragazzo armeno tra determinazione e sacrificio” (“My Life Always at the Center: The Journey of an Armenian Boy Through Determination and Sacrifice”), which is set to be released on October 7, 2025. The book is already available for pre-order on Amazon.

From the published table of contents, it is clear that this is not just a football story, but an honest reflection on growth, memory, and faith. The book contains 25 chapters, including “I’m Going, Dad,” “An Indigestible Breakfast with Mourinho,” “A Window Overlooking Mount Ararat (Because Genocide Must Not Be Forgotten),” “Hamlet, Son of Rome,” and the final one, “For Armenia. With Armenia.”

A special place is given to the memory of his father, the legendary striker Hamlet Mkhitaryan, one of the greatest players in Armenian football history. Henrikh lost him when he was still a child—Hamlet died of a brain tumor at the age of 33. But it was his father who instilled in him the core principle that runs through both the book and his life:

“Henrikh, above all, you must be a good person. Never forget that.”

Guided by these words, Mkhitaryan has managed not only to achieve success on the field but also to remain a man with strong values. In the book, he recounts his early years in France, where his family moved from Armenia, his first steps in football, and his training years in Brazil at the “São Paulo” academy, where at 14 he learned technique, creativity, and Portuguese.

Mkhitaryan retraces his path through “Pyunik,” “Metalurh,” “Shakhtar,” “Borussia Dortmund,” “Manchester United,” “Arsenal,” and “Roma,” before becoming one of the key players of Inter Milan under Simone Inzaghi. The book also reveals his personal side: he speaks five languages, holds two university degrees—one in physical education and another in economics—and is deeply involved in charitable projects helping children in Armenia living in poverty or with disabilities.

Mkhitaryan emphasizes that his life has always been “at the center”—on and off the pitch. And it is this sense of responsibility and pursuit of excellence that defines the spirit of the entire book.
