Olympic Champion Magomed Ramazanov to Miss World Wrestling Championships

Bulgarian freestyle wrestler and Olympic champion Magomed Ramazanov will be unable to compete in the upcoming World Championship. The athlete underwent shoulder surgery on the 29th and will soon travel to Germany for rehabilitation.

Ramazanov was considered one of the main favorites in the 86 kg weight category, and his absence from the World Championship will undoubtedly change the balance of power and open up opportunities for other contenders.

Earlier this season, the Bulgarian wrestler had already claimed the European champion title. However, a shoulder injury that required surgical intervention has prevented him from competing in the season's most important event.
