Armenia U21 national team forward Nicholas Kaloukian has joined Yerevan's Urartu on a permanent basis. He was on trial with the Armenian club and performed well during friendly matches. After the training camp in Dubai, Urartu offered him a contract.
The 22-year-old striker previously played in the U.S. college league and attempted to enter MLS through the draft but was unsuccessful.
Kaloukian has played 3 matches for Armenia U21 and scored one goal.
