The captain of Armenia’s U21 national team, Misak Hakobyan, is moving to the Albanian league. The 22-year-old winger joins reigning champions Egnatia on a one-season loan deal.

Hakobyan is officially a player of Ararat-Armenia, but for the past four years he has consistently played for BKMA, where he became one of the team’s leaders. In the past season, he had a standout campaign, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists.

On the international stage, Misak is a key player for Armenia’s U21 side, with 15 appearances and one goal to his name.

This transfer to Egnatia marks an important step in the career of the promising Armenian midfielder, who will now test himself abroad for the first time.
