OFFICIAL: Misak Hakobyan joins Noah

Armenia U21 national team captain Misak Hakobyan has become a player of FC Noah. The 21-year-old forward moved from Ararat-Armenia and signed a one-year contract. In his new club, Hakobyan will wear the number 22 shirt.

During the current season, the striker had limited playing time at Ararat-Armenia, featuring in two league matches and four games in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers. It is expected that Hakobyan will get more minutes at Noah. Following the departures of Ognen Čančarević and Artak Dashyan, the club now has more flexibility to include Armenian players in the starting lineup under the league’s quota rules.

Misak Hakobyan’s move is Noah’s first winter transfer. Earlier, Ognen Čančarević, Artak Dashyan, and Gudmundur Thorarinsson left the club.

As a reminder, in the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 32, Noah will face Dutch side AZ. The matches will take place on February 19 and 26.
