Official: Gevorg Tarakhchyan joins Pyunik

Yerevan-based Pyunik has announced the signing of 23-year-old forward Gevorg Tarakhchyan. A product of the Urartu academy, Tarakhchyan made his debut for Urartu’s senior team in May 2020.
Over the course of his career, he has also played for Sevan, Noah, BKMA, and most recently Alashkert, which he joined in February 2025.
He has already made 120 appearances in the Armenian Premier League and has represented Armenia at all youth levels from U14 to U21. On June 4, 2024, the striker made his debut for the Armenian national team in a friendly against Slovenia.
Tarakhchyan becomes Pyunik’s first official signing of the summer transfer window. Serbian midfielder Sead Islamović will also join the team, and according to our sources, Alashkert striker Sargis Metoyan is currently training with Pyunik as well.
