Armenian national team striker Artur Miranyan has left Romanian club Universitatea Cluj following the expiration of his contract.
The 29-year-old forward joined the team in September 2024 from Yerevan-based FC Noah, where he became the Armenian Premier League’s top scorer with 23 goals. For Cluj, Miranyan made 21 appearances and scored 3 goals.
The Armenian striker contributed to a historic achievement for the club — qualifying for European competitions for the first time in 53 years. However, he will not take part in the upcoming European campaign.
In addition to Miranyan, five more players have left the club after management decided not to extend their contracts.
