18-year-old Armenian footballer Suren Hagop is getting closer to his senior-level debut with Swedish club IK Brage, which competes in the Superettan, the second tier of Swedish football.
We will share more information about the player soon. Earlier, we also covered another Armenian talent from Sweden, Albert Tamoyan.
The young attacking midfielder had an impressive 2025 season with the U19 team, after which he earned the opportunity to prove himself closer to the first team. Hagop is currently with the senior squad at the preseason camp and has already featured in a friendly match against GIF Sundsvall, which signals growing trust from the coaching staff.
Previously, Suren also trained with the senior team at the start of last season and even scored a goal. Later, he gained playing time in the Swedish Cup, although he still spent the full season at youth level. Now the situation may change — in the 2026 season, the midfielder has real chances to appear more regularly for the first team.
Hagop is a technical and versatile player. He can operate on both attacking wings as well as in the attacking midfield role. In the 2025 youth championship, Suren scored 18 goals, becoming one of the most productive players on his team.

The footballer was born in central Sweden to an Armenian family. He has also been called up to Sweden’s U15 and U17 youth national teams, confirming his status as one of the promising players of his generation.
