Armenian champions Noah played a 1–1 draw away against Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps in the first leg of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. As expected, the match on the artificial turf in Gibraltar proved challenging for Sandro Perković's team. The tie will be decided on August 14 in the return leg in Abovyan.
Noah took the lead early in the game thanks to a brilliant solo effort by midfielder Yan Eteki in the 9th minute. The hosts equalized late in the first half when Tjay De Barr missed a penalty but converted the rebound.
In the 91st minute, Noah came close to grabbing the win — Ulad Omar scored from a free kick, but the goal was controversially disallowed after a VAR review.
The winner of this tie will face the victor of the CFR Cluj (Romania) vs Braga (Portugal) clash in the next round. The Portuguese side won the first leg 2–1.
Sandro Perković: “Everything will be decided in the second leg. We need the 12th man”
