Yerevan’s Noah have completed their first transfer of the summer window. Armenia youth national team goalkeeper David Davtyan has joined the club.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper has moved to Noah from BKMA on a permanent deal. Davtyan was born in Vanadzor and spent four seasons in the BKMA system.
In the recently completed season, Davtyan was BKMA’s first-choice goalkeeper and made 20 appearances in the Armenian championship. His move has become Noah’s first signing ahead of the new season.
Interestingly, Noah may now have two players named David Davtyan in the squad. In addition to the newly signed goalkeeper, winger David Davtyan is also under contract with the Yerevan club and is expected to return from his loan spell at Gandzasar.
