“Noah” and “Alashkert” Share the Spoils in a Tense Armenian Premier League Clash

In the 23rd round of the Armenian championship, “Noah” and “Alashkert” played out a 1–1 draw.

The scoring was opened only in the closing stages of the match. In the 80th minute, Alashkert forward Momo Touré found the net after an assist from Karen Nalbandyan. It was Touré’s tenth goal of the current league campaign.

“Noah” managed to avoid defeat in the 89th minute. Imran Oulad Omar struck the opponent’s goal with a spectacular long-range shot — from about 40 meters, the ball flew straight into the top corner.

The match between two title contenders lived up to expectations: it was tense and evenly balanced. “Noah” controlled possession more often, but in terms of dangerous chances the sides looked roughly equal. A draw can be considered a fair result.
