Nigerian forward Jesse Akila signs with Shirak

Gyumri’s Shirak has officially announced the signing of forward Jesse Akila, the club's press service reports.

The 26-year-old Nigerian played for Charentsavan's Van last season, where he appeared in 26 matches, scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists.

Previously, Akila already had experience playing in Armenia, defending the colors of Ararat-Armenia. Now he will continue his career with one of the oldest clubs in the country, which is actively strengthening its squad ahead of the new season.
