German referee team to officiate Pyunik vs Noah match

The postponed match of the 13th round of the Armenian Premier League between Pyunik and Noah will be officiated by a referee team from Germany. This was reported by the Football Federation of Armenia.

The FFA continues its previously announced practice of inviting foreign referees to officiate matches in the Armenian championship and Armenian Cup. This time, one of the central fixtures of the round has been entrusted to German officials.

Harm Osmers has been appointed as the main referee for the match. He regularly officiates German Bundesliga matches and has also worked in UEFA Europa League games this season. He will be assisted by Sven Waschitzki-Günther and Robert Wessel.

It should be noted that Harm Osmers is already familiar to Armenian football fans. In September 2024, the German referee was in charge of the UEFA Nations League match between North Macedonia and Armenia, which ended in a 2:0 victory for the hosts.

The appointment of a foreign refereeing team for the Pyunik vs Noah match highlights the importance of the upcoming fixture, which could play a significant role in the battle for the top places in the Armenian championship.

Earlier, Belgian referees officiated the Armenian Cup final between Noah and Urartu, while Italian officials worked at the Armenian Premier League match between Noah and Ararat-Armenia.
