Gandzasar striker Bertrand Mani to debut for Chad national team

Armenian club Gandzasar’s forward Bertrand Mani has received his first call-up to the Chad national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The 28-year-old previously played four matches for Cameroon in the African Nations Championship, but will now represent his homeland. Mani has been competing in the Armenian Premier League for three seasons and is considered one of Gandzasar’s key players.

Chad currently sits at the bottom of Group I with just one point. The team will face Mali on October 8 and the Central African Republic on October 12.
