Nair Melikyan Wins GAMA FC Bare-Knuckle Grand Prix (VIDEO)

On April 26, the final bout of the GAMA FC bare-knuckle Grand Prix in the under-73 kg weight category took place in Tbilisi. In the decisive fight, Armenian MMA fighter from Akhalkalaki, Nair Melikyan, faced the experienced Vladimir Ioseliani.
Nair Melikyan, who holds an MMA record of 14-2, has recently been actively competing in bare-knuckle fights. He began his journey in GAMA FC in November 2024. After securing three confident victories in a row, he advanced to the final of the prestigious Grand Prix.
The final fight ended in the first round. Melikyan landed a powerful combination, hitting his opponent’s jaw precisely. Ioseliani fell to the mat and was unable to continue. Thus, Nair Melikyan won by knockout and became the winner of the GAMA FC Grand Prix, receiving a prize of 25,000 GEL (approximately 8,000 euros).
